A Turkey of a Time for Clothes

Dad Style
I like to think that Halloween serves to make us delve in our own creativities of how we dress; after a long summer of lesser fabrics and sockless abandon, it takes some transitioning to get back into the habit of deliberate layers. So from October 31st, we trot comfortably into winter with our favorite time of wear, guilty pleasure or not: dad style.

From out mothball covered bins, cable knit sweaters and shawl collar cardigans make their way back into the rotation. The holiday spirit of adding two inches two your winter waistline embraces the habit of full trousers and belts with plenty of slack. Dad style is built for comfort, performance, and unencumbered jokes.  I’m ready.

Hi ready, I’m dad.

So with Christmas sweaters hugging our love handles in a toasty squeeze, I say Happy Thanksgiving, and happy dad style season.
